MM2 will present with Deirdre Kelly in Toronto

“I have the honor of hosting an upcoming performance by Philadelphia-based modern dance troupe, MM2. The company will be at Toronto Botanical Garden on the night of June 23. If you haven’t been to the gardens yet run, don’t walk, to experience the majesty of the gardens’ designs. The site is next to Edward’s Gardens and for those who, like me, grew up wandering those sylvan paths know that the TBC is quite different. Nature here has been harnessed to art, its wildness tamed into spectacular displays of color, form, texture and line. They resemble ground paintings while the spiraling mound at the center is a piece of organic sculpture. Having dancers move among the beds,  their bodies interacting with the blooms, is an inspired idea and I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds. If free, come out and see it. There’s wine and dessert, besides,. Plus, I will conduct a live interview with the company’s director after the show.” – Deirdre Kelly
