So what is emergence? Emergence is the way complex systems and patterns arise out of relatively simple interactions. There are numerous examples of emergence that can be found in nature and MM2 has drawn upon them in the creation of this new work. A flock of birds moving effortlessly as one, or a school of fish moving together with such grace and coordination, as though unified in a single thought.
Featured Dancers:
Kristen Blundi, Jessica Bryan, Kristen Davies, Jenna Faye Eugenides, Stephanie King, Angela Littlefield, Liz Lyle and Cathrynne Grace Reynolds.
