Earth Day Improvisation at Grounds For Sculpture

For the past eight years, MM2 Modern Dance has found a home at the Grounds for Sculpture, where it has been able to dance and offer a variety of programs to the public in one of the most inspirational of settings.

Continuing with our collaboration for 2011, MM2 will be creating a series of improvisational dances as part of the Earth Day Celebration at Grounds for Sculpture on April 23, 2011 starting at 2:00pm.  Live music for this event will be provided by Dan Ison, who has composed for and collaborated with MM2 for the past two seasons.  Dance pieces will literally be created “on the spot”,  pulling inspiration from the sculptures and beautiful surroundings.

The event is Free to the public with admissions to the grounds. Event is weather permitting.
